Before dental school, she completed her Master of Public Health (MPH) in Medical Epidemiology from Loma Linda University in Southern California, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Before beginning her career in the USA, she practiced dentistry in India after completing her postgraduate degree in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics. She earned her DMD from Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Sun is committed to lifelong learning, with continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and minimally invasive restorative techniques. Her practice philosophy centers on patient comfort and preventative care, and she brings hands-on experience in root canal therapy, crowns, veneers, full-mouth restorations, and digital dentistry including CEREC, CAD-CAM, and Invisalign.
